Hi, I’m Terri and I am the mom of four and the wife to a total goofball that keeps me smiling.

My passion is to help you win against the constant battle over stress and chaos in your busy home. My generation was the start of the working mom and because of this major shift in the typical American family, many of us did not grow up with clear instructions on how to be a “homemaker” or mom. In fact, it wasn’t until my 40’s that I finally started “adulting” instead of playing it off the cuff. Learning simple routines has completely changed my life and I never want another woman to feel lost or alone when figuring this out!

At my core, I am a people pleaser. I want to help. I have taken all of the tests and they all point to the fact that I am fulfilled by taking care of others. It’s kind of funny that I fell into healthcare kicking and screaming but once there, I climbed the ladder quickly. Patients were my top priority. That passion and drive to help others has really given me such pleasure in growing my YouTube channel among other things. I truly love connecting with you!

Several years ago I was living a completely different lifestyle after a traumatic divorce, but God started opening my eyes to His will for me. I have always been a good person but I was not where He wanted me to be. So within a month I was turning in my notice at work and moving back to Tennessee on blind faith. Since taking that huge leap of faith, I have been blessed with my amazing husband and life that I enjoy so much. Never did I dream that I would absolutely love being a stay-at-home mom and wife after working so hard to build a career! The mission He has me on is to open up to the world and encourage others to see the importance of creating a home that is a blessing to you and your family. My home may not resemble the Pinterest-worthy photos or Instagram Moms, but it is a place that I enjoy.

Me in a nutshell:

  • I was a latch key kid (only child).
  • I get excited when I find soft and cozy pjs-preferably with weinie dogs on them!
  • Travel days are just about the only time that I wake up ready to go, otherwise I like to snooze at least once.
  • Cheez-its are my secret addiction.
  • I struggle with ADHD but never have taken medication for it.
  • I naturally do not like clutter and get very anxious if too many things are scattered around.
  • Traveling is absolutely my favorite thing. I love new adventures but never the paid tour versions.
  • Being a mom is absolutely the best thing I have ever done. I adore my kids and would rather hang out with them than anything.
  • I love meeting new people and seeing the other side of life–which is why I love traveling!
  • The scariest thing I have ever done was getting scuba certified-my mask filled with water causing me to cough under water. My instructor saw my panic and how I forced myself to stay down and said if I can do that I can do anything. So I am starting a blog

Thank you for stopping in and I hope you will join me again on this journey to find balance in life and with our homes!
