Sometimes I really wonder why adulting doesn’t come with an instruction book but definitely being a mom should!!! To put it another way, do you ever feel lost or embarrassed that you don’t seem to have your -ish together? Are you pretending things are ok but secretly you feel like a failure?
Friend, you are NOT alone! There is a whole community of us misfit moms who don’t seem to fit into the mold. Maybe you are a creative or neuro divergent and get easily distracted. Maybe you are just juggling a career, family, and home life with no energy at the end of the day. Or, maybe you are like me and you did not come from a traditional home so the whole thing is completely foreign!
Whatever the situation, there is hope.
If this hot mess mom can do it, ANYONE CAN!
However, this blog is for the misfits so you naturally neat and tidy moms probably should run for the hills…or the container store for the latest pantry solutions. Welcome to the safe zone for the hot mess moms. It’s not perfect but I share the things that seem to work for me and cautionary tales of things that didn’t. After all, I am a recovering hot mess mom who has found a passion for helping others escape the chaos that is weighing them down.
